Farhan Akhtar's next film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag promises to be a real function blood sport has been in the headlines for some time. The last of the movie is that the producers Viacomm 18 and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra have pledged Rs. 5 million rupees of profits from the film to charity Olympian Milkha Singh, if the film manages to produce any benefit at the box office.
Earlier, the makers of the film had announced that they would donate part of the profits of the film which is close to 20 percent to charity. However, since that was changed to a defined figure of Rs. 5 million rupees, with the understanding that if the film did not fare better than expected, the contribution to charity also upload.
Singh's charity works primarily for the empowerment of women in rural areas.
