After the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents, Hank Pym, Janet van Dyne and Scott’s daughter, Cassie, are accidentally sent to the Quantum Realm with no way to get back and encounter threats in a breathtaking world, plus might fight against their newest enemy, Kang the Conqueror, who has a ruthless army and a mysterious agenda.
Oh wow…. damn! I’m quite impressed with this trailer. While I did like the first Ant-Man movie, I found the sequel to be sub-par. Sure, it had its moments, but it felt like an inconsequential entry in the large MCU narrative and really didn’t do much to stimulate the feature. Well, maybe the secret ending…. but that was about it. So, I wasn’t super excited when it was announced that Ant-Man 3 was in the works. However, after seeing this trailer for the upcoming film, I’m definitely excited. It looks far more ambitious than the previous ones and it looks to be filled with some crazy stuff that goes down in the Quantum Realm. Plus, we finally get to see a far more menacing depiction of Kang, who’s presence looms large in the trailer. All in all, I’m quite excited for the movie and can’t wait for Quantumania to come out.
