Badlapur directed by Sriram Raghavan is all set to release this Friday (Feb 20). Team Badlapur is busy promoting the film. Varun Dhawan and other actors of the film were in Bangalore recently to promote.
What does Varun Dhawan think about the city? Read on to know about his views.
Varun Dhawan says that the film’s marketing team should be innovative in a multi-city promotional tours of a film. “We improvise depending on each city. For instance, if the people in Delhi are mad about commercial cinema, Bengaluru is more young and loves its technology. Everyone is on these apps.
Also, the city is a rocker city; people don’t like typical desi numbers. This is why I specifically chose to perform the Jee Karda track here,” Varun says. Varun has also actively involved himself in marketing. He says, “I actively give suggestions.
For Badlapur, I suggested the ‘five badlas people want to take’ contest online. I also try and see if I can pick up a few local words when I visit each city.” Fans are waiting eagerly to watch the movie and make it a big hit at the box office.
