Bigg Boss 8‘s Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan was full of surprises, including a Psychiatrist analysing each contestant’s behaviour, a media interaction with the contestants, the contestants help donate for homeless children, Praneet Bhatt getting eliminated on Saturday and he nominating Sonali Raut for captaincy, and Salman refusing to smile for the birthday girl Karishma Tanna and refused to be addressed as ‘Bhai’ from Upen Patel.
The Saturday episode of Weekend Ka Vaar had the host and Bollywood superstar, Salman, in a bad mood due to the recent brutal killing of innocent children in Peshawar. He was so put off with it that he could not hide his hurt and anger throughout the episode. Though he went through with the Psycho-analysis of all contestants and other issues including RJ Preetam and Dimpy Mahajan conflict, he clearly was not himself and he even apologised for it at the end of the episode.
The Saturday episode also shocked everyone when a serious faced Salman announced Praneet’s eviction and asked him to join him on stage. After a tearful adieus from the P3G gang and a clearly upset Sonali, Praneet left the house and the boys with not much hype.
Sunday’s episode of Bigg Boss 8 Weekend Ka Vaar, on the other hand, started off cheerful with orphan children performing on stage with Salman and the announcement of the donation to a orphanage that was made possible thanks to the efforts of all contestants. Salman looked more himself and was able to put on his host facade successfully.
While on Saturday’s episode Salman refused to be addressed as ‘Bhai’ from Upen straight out, on Sunday Salman was unable to get himself to gift a smile to the birthday girl, Karishma. Evidently, the actress who had pissed Salman off by crying over his joke still hasn’t gone off the hook.
Praneet, who got eliminated from the show, seemed more relieved than anything for having left the mad house he had to endure for more than 13 weeks. Praneet bid goodbyes to his boys for the last time on the show and nominated Sonali to get the captaincy he has left off unfinished.
