CITYLIGHTS Collects Poor Week One Total
There was no buzz around ''Citylights'' except among niche trade and industry circles. Team of last year''''s national award winning ''Shahid'' has delivered yet another critical acclaim film but film failed to get audience and money at ticket counters.
Film took a tepid start on Friday and collected 70 lakhs nett which was poor number for a film released in 490 screens. Film had appreciation in metros though it never got translated in good numbers.
Film had good jump on day two and collected 1.25 cr nett. Film further added 1.55 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 60 lakhs on Monday which was as good as Monday but such levels can not change fate of the film. Film collected 50 lakhs on Tuesday which was further drop of 15%. Film added 45 lakhs on Wednesday and Thursday each.
