MASTRAM Had Terrible Week One And KOYELAANCHAL Is Disaster
Last weekend at least 7 Bollywood and couple of regional films in addition to one Hollywood film released in cinemas. This hurt films badly and despite strong buzz in trade, ''Mastram'' performed poorly at box office. ''Koyelaanchal'' proved to be a disaster at box office.
''Mastram'' opened with poor numbers of 40 lakhs and had good growth over weekend. Film collected 1.95 cr nett over weekend and then film dropped poorly on weekdays. Film collected 3 cr nett in 7 days. Film will finish with 3.5-4 cr nett lifetime numbers which is disaster for distributors.
Other multistarrer release ''Koyelaanchal'' was another disaster and managed poor 2.90 cr nett week one and will finish with 3.50 cr nett.
