''300 Rise Of An Empire'' was released across 1100 plus screens. Film was not expected to score big at box office as far as buzz was concerned though film got all India price of 10 cr plus for distribution rights. But surprisingly film has justified the price all the way!
Film got huge benefit due to sequel factor, glowing reviews and shorter running time of 90 minutes which meant more shows. Film was boosted by poor show of all Bollywood releases and film is heading for solid weekend at box office.
Film collected 15 cr nett over weekend which was higher than any Bollywood release over the last weekend. Film scored big Monday of 2 cr nett followed by equally good 1.78 cr nett on Tuesday, steady 1.55 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.34 cr nett on Thursday. Film has collected 21.65 cr nett plus in 7 days.This is higher than all Bollywood releases last week.
