''Gulaab Gang'' was expected to score at box office considering deadly lead pair and hard hitting promos. But as we explained and predicted in our write ups two days back, clash factor did hurt the film badly.
Film got good release and was released in 1600 screens in India and in 160 screens overseas. Film started very slowly on Friday and despite decent reviews film failed to show jump big in later part of the day. Still film managed to keep nose ahead in comparison to its Bollywood counterparts but still poor figures in multiplexes cost the film dearly.
Film managed to collect 3 cr nett on opening day and now 10-11 cr nett weekend looks possible. Film needs big jump today for any chance of decent weekend and anything less than 15 cr nett weekend will be disappointment.
