Film collected 3.45 cr nett on day one and that was below average. Film will look to score minimum 5 cr nett on Saturday in order to have any chance at box office.
HIGHWAY Had Below Average Day One
''Highway'' was never expected to score big at box office but such a limited release in 700 screens thwarted its prospects at box office further. Considering screen size, film managed not poor but yes, below average numbers.
''Highway'' took a slow start and film had occupancy of 20% across the country. Reviews were generally good so word of mouth oushed it further from evening onwards. But from here on film has to jump big in order to score at least average number over weekend. As per opening trends, film is heading for 14-15 cr nett weekend.
