On one hand Bollywood films are breaking new barriers at box office but on the other hand regionalcinema is also growing up in distinct way. Last week Marathi film ''Timepass'' took huge start at box office over the weekend.
Film collected huge 1.70 cr nett, 2.20 cr nett and 2.70 cr nett over the weekend. Film has total of 6.60 cr nett and now film should collect 10-11 cr nett over week one which is a kind of record and more than double of business of hit Marathi film.
Film was released in 250 cinemas with 700 shows but with such a response on Saturday itself film got jump in number of shows. Now film is running in 850 shows. This is remarkable achievement for small film.
