''Singh Saab The Great'' had few things going for it, Sunny Deol back in action avtar and that too with director Anil Sharma. But film opened poorly and managed poor numbers over the weekend. Film never grew after below average day one.
Film collected 15 cr nett plus over weekend and had chance if film held better on weekdays. Film managed 2.50 cr nett on Monday and 2.05 cr nett on Tuesday thus taking 5 day total to 19 cr nett plus. Film will finish week one at 23 cr nett. Film should collect 26-27 cr nett lifetime.
Film also remained poor overseas with under 3 cr figure. Film remained below average at box office mainly due to poor performance in south and west. Lack of novelty in content and not so great word of mouth cost the film dearly.
