''Boss'' was last hope for Akshay Kumar to mend his ways at box office in 2013 but film proved to another big disappointment after OUATIMD and ''Special 26''. This was even sadder as film had good buzz and clear run for 15 days.
Film managed only 49.30 cr nett during week one and film lost all chance of saving grace over 2nd weekend with steep fall of 80% or so. Film managed only 4.30 cr nett over 2nd weekend and added further 1.47 cr nett plus on weekdays.
Filmcollected 6 cr nett plus in 2nd week but 3rd week was whitewash on expected lines after release of mega budget ''Krrish 3''. Film managed paltry sum of 35 lakhs in 3rd week taking 3 week total to 55.70 cr nett.
Film is a flop and 4th successive Akshay Kumar starrer to finish around 60 cr nett (''Special 26'', ''Khiladi 786'', OUATIMD & ''Boss'').
