"Besharam" had good opening day only due to national holiday but from there on film nosedived to the bottom day after day. Film is now complete washout and has no chance of recovery from here on.
BESHARAM Had Terrible Extended Weekend
"Besharam" proved once again that film can not take content for granted and even a good release date orbig star can not guarantee success. OUATIMD flopped despite Independence Day release and this one bombs despite national holiday release. Both films had extended weekends.
Film collected 21.56 cr nett on day one which was not a great but good figure. Film collected 7.13 cr nett on day two, on Friday film collected 5.68 cr nett on Saturday 5.94 cr nett and 7.15 cr nett on Sumday as per early trend taking 5 day weekend total to 47.46 cr nett.
Film is struggling big time and now even 70 cr nett lifetime total looks distant possibility. At best film will finish with 65 cr nett lifetime figure and that is a shame for a film made for 70 cr plus budget. Though makers will recover money from ancillary revenues and satellite rights but at box office this is epic failure.
