The doting Bachchan bahu and mother of Aaradhya Bachchan is gearing up to set the silver screen ablaze in producer Gaurang Doshi’s next to be directed by ad man Prahlad Kakkar
Just when speculation is rife that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will make her return to the silver screen with Himesh Reshammiya’s Masoom remake along with her dearest husband Abhishek Bachchan reprising the roles played by Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi in the original 1983 hit, we hear bigger news.
We are told that producer Gaurang Doshi (Bawander and Aankhen fame) has convinced Ash and AB Junior to star in his production Happy Anniversary (HA), to be helmed by the well known ad man Prahlad Kakkar. Our feathered friends who were eves dropping told us that Doshi has been toying with the idea for making a film for a long time now. The ecstatic producer said that the honey-eyed actor will be back on the big screen in the same avatar as seen in Dhoom 2 hinting that it may be an action flick!
“Aishwarya is working hard to lose weight for the film. I can say she will be seen as Dhoom girl in the film. It was the script that convinced the actor who had taken a sabbatical after becoming a mother,” informs Doshi while talking to a news agency and adds, “I think Abhi and Ash is the ideal couple and they both look good together. The film will be widely shot in South Africa.”
HA is set to go on the floors early next year. Hmmm… we wonder what will happen to Reshammiya’s ambitious plan of bringing the super couple together in his remake. Will Abhi-Ash start work on the Masoom remake first or Happy Anniversary? Watch this space for more updates!
