Desi Romance" started well and had good first weekend. Now after very
good 2nd weekend, film has attained clean hit status. Film is holding on
pretty well in 2nd week.
Film
was affected badly on 2nd Friday due to onslaught of "Grand Masti" and
but film jumped again on 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday giving it much
needed boost. Film collected close to 5.75 cr nett in 2nd weekend and
added further 75 laks on 2nd Monday which was a drop of only 45% from
2nd Friday.
Filmhas
collected 43 cr nett in 15 days and film should collect 46-47 cr nett
by end of 2nd week and 50 cr nett lifetime is guaranteed from here. Film
is a clean hit at box office. Film will be in cinemas for couple of
weeks which will ensure a lifetime total in excess of 50 cr nett.
Film
will add 10 cr from satellite and other rights will further add 2 cr
and that means film will make at least 20 cr profit for makers which is
almost 100% return over budget.
