YRF made an offcial announcment about its film MARDAANI starring Rani Mukerji in the lead role, director of the film is Pradeep Sarkar who previously direct films like Parineeta, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Lafangey Parindey.
Rani Mukerji is going to play the role of a rustic cop for the very first time. Mardaani is a raw and gritty boldest subject ever made by YRF.
Mardaani, directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra will go on floor by the last quarter of the year and is expected for a 2014 release worldwide.
