"Ek Thi Daayan" was supposed to take a super start at box office but film failed to take an average opening and after that film went down on Saturday which was shocking.
Film collected lower numbers due to Ram Navami and after that on Sunday too film had growth but not such that can take it to respectable total. Film''s dismal opening weekend performance again enforces the importance of first promo which was unattractive.
Film remained below average outside metros which means Emraan Hashmi''s fit with the treatment of film went wrong. There was lack of entertainment, hit songs and chill factor.
As per early estimates, film should collect 7.75 cr nett on Sunday which is a minimal growth over Friday. Film has collected 19 cr nett and only good weekdays can take it close to 25 cr nett week one which will be still a below average result.
